You're Sweet

I made this for Imaginisce's Challenge #2 where you had to use a Snag 'em Stamp to create a background. I used Candy from their hallowhimsy collection. The dotted paper is also from that collection. I stamped the sentiment on twill using a studio g stamp. For the lollypop I stamped, cut out the image, colored, place an epoxy bubble from Epiphany Crafts on top, and tied a string around the stick. I stuck it to the card with pop dots. Thanks for stopping by!

Rain

I used German Glass Glitter from acharmingplace for the raindrops :)not as messy as glitter so very easy to clean up and has more sparkle too. I found lots of fun quotes on the web to use. Thanks for stopping by!
Like the sky opens after a rainy day we must open to ourselves.. Learn to love yourself for who you are and open so the world can see you shine. ~ James Poland Being soaked alone is cold. Being soaked with your best friend is an adventure. ~Emily Wing Smith
Some people walk in the rain, others just get wet. ~ Roger Miller Anyone who says sunshine brings happiness has never danced in the rain. ~ Traditional Proverb
Maybe raindrops are the bravest thing created by God. Want to know why? Its because they are never afraid of falling.~unknown Do not, on a rainy day, ask your child what he feels like doing, because I assure you that what he feels like doing, you won't feel like watching. ~ Fran Lebowitz

Night Owl!

I wanted to play with buttons and wire so I googled to see if what I had imagined had been done..and it had. In the search I also turned up these cute owls at SodaHead.com I knew I had to make one so went searching for something round and found these clock faces. Love how it turned out :)
I poked a hole in the clock face, strung wire through a seed bead to hold the flower (beak) in place, then strung the same wire through the button shanks to hold the buttons (eyes) in place, and added a loop in-between for the chain to go through. I cut a second clock face in half for the wings. For the eye ruffle and tail I cut a smaller clock face in half and then one of those in hlaf again. I think it turned out cute.
