Christmas Angels 2012
Every year I make angels for my sisters. Made one for Dawn too, miss her so much. Will try to water seal hers and put it by momma and daddy's grave. I used metal index tabs from 7gypsies for the body, bottle caps for the head...not just any bottle cap had to be Dr Pepper, Dawn's favorite :) The wings were cut with a sizzix die, the arms and legs are an assortment of beads. Hope they like them.

Night Owl!
I wanted to play with buttons and wire so I googled to see if what I had imagined had been done..and it had. In the search I also turned up these cute owls at SodaHead.com I knew I had to make one so went searching for something round and found these clock faces. Love how it turned out :) I poked a hole in the clock face, strung wire through a seed bead to hold the flower (beak) in place, then strung the same wire through the button shanks to hold the buttons (eyes) in place, and added a loop in-between for the chain to go through. I cut a second clock face in half for the wings. For the eye ruffle and tail I cut a smaller clock face in half and then one of those in hlaf again. I think it turned out cute. Tic-Tac-Toe
I used Safari Chic Paper from DCWV,
clear stamp from Imaginisce, DMC floss, ink, and Craft Wood Flat Head Plugs to make a cute Tic Tac Toe Game from a mint tin. Stamp the lion twice on light brown paper and once on brown paper, cut the nose and belly from the brown and glue it onto one of the light brown images, glue on lots of floss for the mane, then cut the head out of the last imagine, color the nose and inside ears, glue it on top of the mane. Carefully pull the sticker off the tin to use as a template to cut a circle and the opening flap so you can store the pieces inside. Spray paint the tin brown. Stitch a grid for the game on it then carefully glue to the tin. On the other side just cut a circle, hand stitch around it, then glue the lion on top. For the playing pieces cut small circles from Safari Chic Paper and glue on top of the wood plugs. Have fun!
