Oh My

The bug man (AKA DH) ran over the can!!?? No harm done Just tipped it over. There he is pointing at the mailbox explaining how he happened. He was looking at my nice packages on the mailbox!!! It is all my fault!! Oh well, Yippee Yay!!! I got scrappy mail!!!! I need to clean but now I want to play with my pretty new bug paper. Thanks Hayley!!!!! I won the monthly challenge draw at acharmingplace for May. Real easy and fun to enter..four challenges are posted each month and you just have to do all four to have your name in the hat!! Plus I got a package from Scraplovers!!! From an awesome clearance sale she had. And the best part was I had a gift certificate!! Man I had to work for that baby but it was worth it in the end. I just feel sorry for the other girls that had to work just as hard but lucky me my name popped out of the hat!!! To scarp or work on that pile of laundry???

It rained today so I have a little puddle splasher..it was fun!! I couldn't help but laugh and once he ran right into me...hey I was a fair distance away using a zoom so I thought I was safe.

Week 5

At Scraplovers.com I was in a So you think you can scrap contest! It was fun but this was the last round I made it to. We had to use a poster for inspiration and make it unique. For my insipration I used one titled Dance of Youth that had a ring of children dancing so I stitched around my journaling and for the unique I went all out and made my own background paper. It was fun!! I was surprised I made it this far....can't wait to see who wins.

week 3 and 4

Week 3 we had to use a CD cover for our inspiration and our Favorite technique!
Week 4 we had to do a dance most like our lives..I did the hip hop!

week 1 and 2

For week one we had to use a song title and cardstock only..on that part was hard!
Week 2 we had to put an item on there..my necklace.

Lovely Day

Mom called me last night and ask if I would meet them at the ranger station..yes!! Oh I was looking forward to stomping on old territory again, nice slow walk. Well, little miss Katie didn't want to stay with the rest of us so it was more like we ran the trail trying to keep up with her!!? When she got to the fork she waited to see which way to go....I told her we were going to go out or if she wanted to stay with the rest of us then we could go up to the pond. Not sure what her mommy thought of that but who knows who or what might be on the trail ahead and I was tired of worrying about it. It was really enjoyable after that! Watching the kids walk together..David was playing tag with Brandon, sweet little Claya was holding FT's hand and she helped him fill his pockets with pine cones!!! Hope to do it again soon!!!

Oh what fun!

I took the two little dudes to the library this morning for "mysterious" animals from the zoo! It was cool!! They got to see a tarantula, a king snake, an owl, and a ferret. Big brother got to pet the snake but being a bad mom I didn't let FT, I could just see him with his little fist gripped around it and not letting go! They both got to pet the ferret..figured it was enough like a cat or dog that he would understand to just pet it. He was sooooooo excited!! I enjoyed it!
